11</div> <div> half priced with parent(s).  This is a buffet of steak, chicken, chicken tenders, mashed</div> <div> potatoes and fries, vegetables, dessert and drink (non-alcoholic).  All procedes go to the</div> <div> UTC Rowing Team, since <B>Outback Steakhouse @ Hamilton Place</B> donates all food and</div> <div> drink.  </div> <bR> <div> <B><U>Donations:</U></B>    UTC Rowing has a an account with the UTC</div> <div> Development Office.  This means that all donations are tax</div> <div> deductable and that all donations qualify for any Matching Gift</div> <div> programs offered by your employer/company.  Please send all</div> <div> donations (and forms) to:</div> <bR> <div>           <B>UTC Rowing</B></div> <div> <B>          HHP Dept  #6606</B></div> <div> <B>          615 McCallie Avenue</B></div> <div> <B>          Chattanooga, TN  37403</B></div> <bR> <div>    Make all checks payable to UTC, you can put "rowing" in the memo</div> <div> section if you wish, but it is not necessary.  Coach Espeseth will make</div> <div> sure that all donations get to the UTC Development Office and properly</div> <div> credited to the UTC Rowing Team.  The UTC Development Office will</div> <div> also send you a letter regarding your donation for Income Tax purposes.</div> <bR> <div>    These donations all go towards rowing equipment acquisitions, usually</div> <div> the replacement (upgrades) of older rowing shells (boats) by selling the</div> <div> older shell and using the money raised to purchase a newer shell.  Currently,</div> <div> there is  about $6,000 in the Development Account, and we need $8,500 -</div> <div> $9,000 to upgrade a 10-year old 4+.  </div> <bR> <div>    Donors receive the following gifts (see merchandise)  for the amount</div> <div> donated (if desired):</div> <bR> <div>    $50  -  UTC Rowing gray t-shirt</div> <div>    $100  -  UTC Rowing gray t-shirt and UTC Crew Stein</div> <div>    $200  -  The above plus a UTC Crew Polo shirt</div> <div>    $500  -  The above plus a wooden sculling oar</div> <div>    $1,000  -  The above plus a wooden sweep oar</div> <div>    $3,000  -  The above plus you can name a rowing shell</div> <bR> <div> <B><U>Programs & Activities</U></B>:  UTC Rowing uses many other means</div> <div> to raise funds to cover the costs of regattas and to maintain equipment.</div> <div> In addition to semester dues/fees paid by each rower.    The rowing</div> <div> team also hosts the Tennessee Indoor Rowing Championships (see TN</div> <div> Indoor section), conducts a Silent Auction in February, coordinates the</div> <div> <B>Outback Steakhouse @ Hamilton Place</B> Luncheon in February and sells</div> <div> shirts at some regattas (see Merchandise--regatta).</div> <bR> <div>     <B><U>BI-LO:</U></B>  BI-LO will donate 1% of purchases made by those who present</div> <div> a bar code sheet (see attachment which follows).  This must be done every</div> <div> year by anyone who shops at BI-LO, even if you have done this in the past,</div> <div> you must do it again.  Please share this with any relatives, friends, neighbors</div> <div> and even the next person in line with you.  Once you have given the cashier this</div> <div> sheet, you do not have to do it again until next year.  The new sheets are issued</div> <div> by BI-LO in August of each year.  By helping UTC Rowing, this does not cost you</div> <div> anything financially, nor is anything deducted from reward programs (like milk,</div> <div> turkey or ham point programs).  UTC Rowing is eligible to receive up to $3,000</div> <div> annually.</div> <bR> <bR> <div>    </div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
